Innes McCartney
"There has always been a guitar somewhere. My mother played classical guitar when I was in the womb. I guess it stuck with me ever since then, although I never took it very seriously. Covid lockdowns and retirement (archaeologist and academic) have afforded me the time to practice, improve technique and to move beyond the basics to some new songs. I am particularly fond of early country blues and the British folk revival, especially Bert Jansch. For me, guitar playing is a meander without a destination. Just enjoying the ride."
