Penzance Folk Club - Gallery

Moving six years ago to the Penzance area from the Lake District, Ron and Ruth have thrown themselves into the folk music scene in West Cornwall. Ron plays the guitar and banjo and Ruth an accordion and whistle. Their repertoire is a mix of American and English material with Ron singing, and occasionally Ruth. In his earlier days Ron was influenced by Tom Paxton and used to sing Paxton songs to his children. Ron and Ruth also play for the Pensans Morris Band.
