Moving to Cornwall in 2014 to be nearer family, Dennis attended a talk at Madron given by someone from the Red River Singers about pub songs which caught his interest. He became a regular attendee at the Penzance Shout from the early days, and attended other pub sessions which he greatly enjoyed. His daughter taught him to play the guitar at the age of 75, and together they produced a cd. He started to perform at the pub sessions with a repertoire of Americana, Blues and self-penned songs, more recently he joined Pensans Morris band playing the spoons, and found the folk club.
