Penzance Folk Club - Gallery

Sue discovered the folk club scene in Somerset in her early 30s and was a regular member of the Mendip Packet Folk Club and Mr. Punch’s folk club. Sue led a community choir Shepton Sings! for a couple of years before moving down to Newlyn in 2020. She now volunteers at the Acorn Theatre and Bosavern Community Farm and is a member of local choir Levow an Bys. Sue also runs a monthly Song Circle at Inner Space with a more freestyle approach to harmony singing (chants, mantras and rounds), and has set up a new website www.penwithvoices.co.uk which aims to list all singing opportunities in this area - choirs, groups and open sessions.
